Kids Can Make A Difference
Welcome Kids, Parents, Teachers, and the people of Placerville!

Calling all Artists
If you’re an artist, would you like to have your name in lights? I’m looking to assemble a team of artists to build a particular kind of plastic species to raise awareness about plastic pollution. You can help make a difference. If this sounds interesting to you, email me please at: sbright93@gmail.com
Meet Dumpy
Dumpy is a discarded toy I found in the trash. He is as good as new. That is, after yanking 500 stickers, giving him a good bath, and sewing him up. He also got a new pair of eyes that glow in the dark. I thought he would make a great mascot for kids to raise awareness with all the plastic that heads to our oceans. The good news is If we pick up plastic wherever we walk, we can stop it at its source – on land! Please check out my Youtube channel to discover what a great worker Dumpy is! Tell a friend please. The more plastic that’s picked up, the less goes into the ocean!
Here’s What The Area Looks Like Now. Thanks Dumpy!

Thank you for saving the caps people of Placerville
I am in the planning stages of a special art project, so stay tuned. See video
I believe this book is one of the most important books for kids to read in 2012 and beyond.
My First Book Will Be Done Soon!
Trevor Duncan is a twelve year California boy who gets stung in the forest by a strange green bug! To his surprise, this gives him the ability to speak with animals, and he is given a mission directly from a Blue Whale to help with the
plastic pollution problem. Trevor and his team of friends passionately set out to help sea creatures by slowing ocean plastic pollution at it source – on land. He is helped along the way by some memorable characters such as Nigel the crab,
Kelby the the sea turtle, Gunther the crow, and Barika the dolphin.
Purpose of the Book
My purpose is to educate kids about the plastic pollution problem in the ocean and how this affects the lives of the sea creatures that live there. The book spells out some practical solutions that kids across America can take. The goal is to end the plastic bag in California!
Feel free to browse the pages and videos on the left. I’ll have more content up soon about our earth’s wonderful breathing device: our oceans.
An important quote from Dr. Sylvia Earle, “No Blue, No Green.”
Dr. Earle is a world renowned Oceanographer. (Ted Prize Winner.) This means quite frankly, that if there is no ocean, we will not have a planet. There’s no need to fret, Trevor’s got a plan you can bet!

“So, we think that we’re at the top of the species order.
The truth is, we’re in the same pea soup with them.”
