<p>Hello World again:</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>What A Purpose</strong>!</p>
<p>May I introduce you to a person who I&#8217;ve had the privilege of meeting.  Her name is Lesley Rochat from South Africa.  She not only swims with this docile species, she and a bunch of her friends are for saving the entire ocean.  Bless their hearts!</p>

<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>UH, where&#8217;s the shark cage? </strong></p>
<p>Some of you may be aware that the shark is disappearing from our oceans.  And Shark finning is the culprit.  Making soup out of a perfectly great working shark?  What are we thinking.   They have a job to do out there.  After all they are a <a title="A great word to learn about" href="Hello World again: Hope someone sees this. I have had the honor of meeting a person from South Africa who's passion is amazing for sharks. Some of you may be aware that the shark is disappearing from our oceans. Shark finning is the culprit. Making soup out of a perfectly great working shark? Man they've been around for at least 400 million years and this is how we treat them? You have to be seated and check your heartbeat for this statistic I'm about to share. Are you ready? Between 70 to 100 million shark are removed from the ocean a year to shark finning. I about fell out of my chair when I read that. Lesley does some of the best footage in the world sharing about what's going on with this amazing species. Check out her blog because she goes right in the deep and photographs them." target="_self">keystone species. </a></p>

<p>I about fell out of my chair when I read that.  Lesley does some of the best footage in the world sharing about what&#8217;s going on with this amazing species.  Please <a title="Amazing photographs!" href="http://www.lesleyrochat.com/news-and-blog/" target="_blank">check out her blog</a>.   She goes right in the deep  and photographs them.  And her photographer Mike Fraser took some of the best pictures I&#8217;ve ever seen!  Would you agree?  Isn&#8217;t this a wild animal fact worth knowing about?</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>An Experiment:</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Just try this little experiment.  When you go in to a restaurant, ask the person at the cash register if they knew that 70 to 100 million sharks are taken out of the water to shark finning.  I did.  They looked at me as if I lost a body part in the moment.  All I can say is they were stunned.  I thought they were going to fall over.  The truth is most people do not know this wild animal fact.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">I have a place on my humble sight where there&#8217;s a link that a kid and all can write to the Minister of China.  What Might happen if he&#8217;s sitting eating a donut and coffee and <em>someone reads a letter from a ten year young kid.</em> I would hope they could pass into law to end finning.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><img title="He created a shark sanctuary for around the entire island!" src="http://specieshelp.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/palau_JohnsonToribiong1-150x150.jpg" alt="He created a shark sanctuary for around the entire island!" width="150" height="150" /></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Hey it&#8217;s possible.  The president of the island of Palau, &#8220;President Torribiong,&#8221; passed into law  declaring  their island a shark sanctuary!  Do you think the sharks are grateful for that decision?</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Taking Action:</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><strong> </strong>Come on dear people.  I have a place right on the front of my site that let&#8217;s kids and all <a title="Please write him or a physical letter!" href="http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact/" target="_blank">write a letter to the President obama.</a> Hey just one letter might be all that it takes for a decision maker to sign something for the benefit of endangered species.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">I thank you for taking the time to get to get to know Lesley Rochat from South Africa.  She&#8217;s just one person on the earth with 400 kids, a great photographer and  a helcopter that photographs <a title="Great Kids!" href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UOsrrJYs0v0&amp;feature=player_embedded#!" target="_blank">S.O.S.</a> to save the ocean.  Ok it was a rental.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">So I started blogging.  For the teachers out there.  Please excuse any spell or grammar challenges.  I  don&#8217;t have staff yet.  It&#8217;s the heart that counts, right?</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">The best to you, Scott Bright, &#8220;speciesguy.&#8221;</p>

<p>Hi World:</p>
<p>This is one of my first blogs for the humble web site I created for endangered species called <a title="Come learn a few wild animal facts." href="http://www.specieshelp.com"><strong><span style="color: #3366ff;">Specieshelp.com</span></strong></a></p>
<p>I have had this site up and running for a fifteen months now. I&#8217;m glad you found my humble web site.  I&#8217;m in the process of adding some more content. I&#8217;m doing my best to keep it fun! I love to read some of the insights about different animals and share in a way kids and the rest of us can enjoy!</p>
<p>I&#8217;m not a biologist, but I play one on TV. <img src='http://specieshelp.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> I was reading on the internet a specific number, it said that over  16,000 species are endangered at this time. Wow!  That&#8217;s a lot worldwide!   So, I said to myself! What can I do to make a difference? And that is when I caught a spark to teach kids and all in a fun way about the value of endangered species.</p>
<p>What I do is present an animal in a funny way.  I hope you feel my passion for this subject. Animals on earth need to be spoken for.</p>
<p>My hat goes off to the people that blog on a daily basis.  I have enough to do just keeping up one web site.  I&#8217;ll write when I can.  Heck.  I&#8217;m writing books about these animals too.  And that takes time as you know learning a few wild animal facts myself.</p>
<p>Here just a few things you&#8217;ll discover on my wild animal website:</p>
<ul>
<li><a href="http://www.specieshelp.com" target="_blank">Kids Animal Books for your kids to explore</a></li>
<li><a title="Can you say aye-aye? Check this animal out!" href="http://specieshelp.com/cool-videos-about-wild-species/" target="_self">Some amazing videos I put here for you.</a></li>
<li><a title="Great speach plus write the President." href="http://specieshelp.com/president-shares-a-great-speech/" target="_self">Write President Obama right on the front home page. </a></li>
<li><a title="Please write him or a physical letter!" href="http://www.petitiononline.com/qbrb1234/petition.html" target="_blank">Write the Minister of China about shark fin soup.</a></li>
</ul>
<p>All the best, Speciesguy.</p>
