These two books attempt to dispel some of our irrational fears and urge us to respect bears and understand their behavior. All but two of the remaining species of bears are on the endangered list, and both authors claim that the key to the bear’s future is education.

Be For A Species

Awareness Kids

Equals Change

Yes indeed, saying we’re, for a particular species is a good thing. All that is required is for us to know something about the species we’re talking about.

For instance, when I write and say I’m for polar bears, I need to know what’s going on with them. Or, if I say I’m for the whales, I have to know how they’re doing as a species.

Yes indeed, its wonderful when we learn about the value of a species and see that what they do is very important. I think it’s a lot of fun discovering the purpose of different species. It’s like a nugget of gold that you get to uncover! Happy digging!
