Kids Can Make A Difference With Sharks

What If Kids Got Passionate About The Sharks?

By Speciesguy

Scott Bright

Hi parents, please share with your kids. My number one passion at this time is to learn what makes each animal valuable. So kids, what are some of your favorite animals? Do you like sharks? I sure hope so, they need a lot of help at this time.

The more you know about them, you can share what you know. I know I’ve written about a lot about sharks lately. I hope you have fun reading some of the discoveries, and what I’ve learned.

How Long have Sharks Been On Earth?

Here’s a wild animal fact for you. Did you know that sharks have been around around four hundred million years? That is a long time to be around. Every thing about them is so cool. You can read my other blog about, “It’s all in the tail.”

Education Is What Will Turn These Numbers Around. I’m dedicated to launching kids enthusiasm for wild animals. They, after all, are the ones inheriting the next go round on this planet!

A Bunch Of Sharks Are Endangered

Kids and all, today, over 100 million sharks leave the ocean every year to something called shark fin soup. And I believe with the parents help, kids can become educated as to what’s going on and write a leader.

Shark Fin Soup

I want the kids of the world know that because of people making soup are causing the sharks to disappear from the ocean in huge numbers!   But there’s hope. Because the word is getting out to millions of people.   And laws about shark finning are being put into place soon.

It’s funny though, If I mention it to someone , like at a taco place for lunch, they can hardly believe that many sharks’ fins are turned in soup!

Kids, I’m asking you to please join with me with your parents so the shark will be around for years and years to come! Sharks do not speak well to humans, so we can speak for them. Parents, the more your kids know, the more they can share.

If you like, click the funny spinning shark at the bottom to sign a petition. It’s to the Minister of China, “Environmental Protection.” Just write and be for the sharks.

Uncover a Shark: An Uncover It Book (Uncover Books

Fascinating, sharks have an enduring appeal for kids. With this imaginative three-dimensional model-in-a-book kit, the great white can be easily built, deconstructed, and rebuilt layer by layer until each of its elements – cartilage, dentition, fins, gills, and then cardiopulmonary, digestive, and acute sensory systems – is understood.

When I read that and I said, man oh man, I’ve got to do something! But what? A couple of days went by, and then it dawned on me to do a web site. Now,

Passion For Species

I know that I’m not a biologist; I’m someone that cares for species like you! So yes, I had to gather some wild animal facts. I can tell you that it’s been a fascinating journey of discovery! As things progressed with the sight, I thought, what’s the best way to make a difference on this site? And then I thought, hey let;s get kids enthused about endangered species!

Here’s another stuffed animal shark. It’s the great white shark. There’s one video to go see on you tube, it shows a great white shark jumping way high up in the air!
